A Council announcement described the fields as 'looking mint' and Director of Environment and Planning Alex Waldron said clubs and groups should book fields as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

"I'm sure we are the envy of the region when visiting teams see the great condition of our fields despite the challenging weather conditions in recent years," she said.
"Council would like to remind all clubs and user groups to book the sports field and any associated amenities as soon as they are aware of their fixtures. The applicable fees associated with the use of council facilities must also be paid using the appropriate booking and payment system.
"This allows Council to appropriately schedule the servicing of these bookings and continue to provide such a high standard of service.''
Enquires for the booking of Council facilities can be made via email or telephone, council@upperlachlan.nsw.gov.au and (02) 4830 1000.
