This week Dr Harry pays a visit to a man with the Midas touch when it comes to farming, and you’ll never guess who it is!
By night he is Sydney’s prime time news anchor, but by day, Mark Ferguson is happiest working on his farm.
And with hundreds of newborn lambs on the farm, Dr Harry finds out Mark’s secrets to farming success.
Mark said, “It was wonderful to have Dr Harry down on the farm.
“He certainly knows more than me, so I had plenty of questions for him.
“Given the very tough winter he thought the lambs were looking first rate.
“Dr Harry ran his own sheep property in Tasmania for a number of years so he knows what he’s talking about.
“The Better Homes and Gardens crew loved their night in Crookwell and they were raving about the meal they had at the Top Pub.
“I’ve only had the block since the start of the year so it’s very early days but I’m loving it so far.
“There’s so much to learn, it’s a real challenge.
“I love spending time when I can in the Southern Tablelands.
It’s a superb part of the world,” Mark concluded.
This episode of Better Homes and Gardens starring Mark Ferguson and Dr Harry airs September 11, 7pm on Channel7/Prime7.
Footnote: Prime 7 has also been a major sponsor of the Crookwell Dogs Union team during the 2015 season.
